Many wives struggle with HONORING & RESPECTING their husbands

We’ve heard of many reasons for this. Some wives feel like their husband simply don’t DESERVE their respect due to their husbands disrespectful or hurtful behavior. They’ve admitted to their IGNORANCE in regards to how REAL honor and respect for their husbands are supposed to look. Many have not experienced having a father or a healthy MODEL of a marriage to look up to. It’s also sometimes due to direct REBELLION to the command of God, they lack self-control, are too prideful or they simply don’t feel they have to. Whatever the reasons wives may have, A HUSBAND IS A POSITION THAT REQUIRES HONOR. Similar to how a woman respects and honors her male boss, her pastor, her father, a judge,etc., she should honor her husband. She may need to research and deeply study what HONOR looks like TO GOD. She should pray, confess her lack of knowledge and understanding and ask for wisdom in this area. When a wife submits to her husbands “position,” she’s submitting to God. GOD IS A GOD OF ORDER, and we believe God is calling for the family to get BACK IN ORDER. We believe the lack of morals in our society today are directly tied to the lack of morals, honor, core values, and respect in our homes. HUSBANDS stand FIRM in your position and LEAD with a sacrificial, gentle, caring and unconditional love. God wants to get the GLORY out of our marriage, but we must DO MARRIAGE HIS WAY.
